    Type of Support

    Overview

The Compass Society's grant program is designed to support nonprofit organizations serving the Greater Huntsville area, focusing on high-impact, collaborative, and visionary projects that align with the Community Foundation's Quality of Life Framework. Grants of $50,000 will be awarded to initiatives in Jackson, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, and Morgan Counties. These projects should span at least three of the specified focus areas: Arts & Culture, Basic Needs, Economic Opportunity, Education, Environment, Health & Wellness, Neighborhoods & Communities, and Recreation. Priority is given to proposals that demonstrate a significant impact on a large number of people, involve collaboration between three or more partners, address multiple focus areas, and present innovative, future-focused opportunities.
