Mobilize generosity to improve quality of life in our community
The grant program of the Women’s Philanthropy Society is dedicated to supporting projects that aim to create systemic change in key focus areas critical to women and their families. Each year, up to two high-dollar grants are awarded within their Power of S.H.E.E. framework, which encompasses four main areas: Safety and security (covering domestic violence, homelessness, child abuse, human trafficking, and food insecurity), Health and wellness (addressing mental and physical health, substance abuse, infant mortality, and pregnancy), Education (focusing on early childhood education, K-12, GED, higher education, and adult literacy), and Economic empowerment (including financial counseling, entrepreneurship, housing counseling, job/workforce training, childcare, and transportation).
