It focuses on serving the counties of Sangamon, Cass, Christian, Logan, Macoupin, Menard, Montgomery, and Morgan through a variety of grantmaking programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of these communities.

    The Community Grants Program by the Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln offers funding opportunities for nonprofit organizations within Sangamon, Cass, Christian, Logan, Macoupin, Menard, Montgomery, and Morgan counties. This program is open to projects across any charitable focus area, aiming to connect donor-advised funds with a broad range of funding needs within the community. By doing so, it encourages collaboration among donors and nonprofits to support significant and impactful projects. In 2022, the program facilitated the awarding of over $194,000 in grants, with 29 donor-advised funds contributing to 56 different nonprofit programs throughout central Illinois.
