The Conagra Brands Foundation believes in everyone's right to healthy and nutritious food. Despite the presence of food insecurity across every county in the United States, the foundation is committed to making an impact and raising awareness through engaging its employees, partnering with local and national nonprofits, and inspiring the creation of a world where people have access to the food they need to reach their full potential.
The Community Impact Grants program allows U.S.-based nonprofits to submit one online Letter of Intent (LOI) annually, focusing on strategic alignment with core areas of concern. These areas include food access, nutrition education, cooking skills, promoting healthy and active lifestyles, and supporting select urban agricultural programs that emphasize community engagement and develop entrepreneurial skills for participation in the farm-to-fork economy. A crucial condition for applicant organizations is the possession of an inclusive non-discrimination policy covering a comprehensive range of characteristics and ensuring protections for employees, volunteers, and clients alike. This policy's inclusivity and thoroughness are essential for consideration by the foundation, underscoring its values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
