Through funding and support, it seeks to make significant enhancements in these areas for the benefit of Erie County residents.

    Type of Support

    Overview

The Responsive Grant - Education program requires all applicants to first schedule a phone call with Cullen staff before submitting a Letter of Intent (LOI). Cullen Foundation’s support for Supplemental Academic Programs (“SAPs”) focuses on programs serving underserved PreK-grade 12 students in Erie County NY. The intended goal of our SAP investments is to increase the number of SAPs that significantly improve the academic outcomes of the student served. We invest in “seats” in these programs to meet the needs of underserved students who need and receive high-quality, high dosage, evidence-based academic programming from such programs.
