    The Denver Immigrant Legal Services Fund, managed by The Denver Foundation in partnership with a diverse community advisory board, aims to bolster legal services for Denver's immigrant population. The fund specifically supports nonprofit organizations that offer:

    • Direct legal representation for immigrants in detention or facing removal proceedings.
    • Affirmative relief for individuals navigating the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and various visa processes.
    • Innovative projects and capacity building efforts to expand the availability of pro-bono or low-bono immigration attorneys for immigrant representation. Key funding priorities include removal defense for detainees at the Aurora Detention Facility, affirmative relief and removal defense for non-detained individuals, and initiatives to enhance the capacity for direct legal representation to immigrants.
