The iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE aims to identify and support projects that address relevant problems with ethical standards, strengthen community relations, create positive experiences, and balance effort with value. With a total prize money of EUR 100,000 annually, the initiative focuses on projects regardless of their size but emphasizes the idea, problem relevance, target groups, and sustainable impact. Winners gain visibility among the global design community and media, and align with the 15 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), covering areas from poverty reduction and health to gender equality, clean energy, and climate action. Selected projects are featured on the iF Design Website indefinitely at no cost.
