The Dollar General Literacy Foundation's grant program focuses on supporting literacy and education initiatives for individuals of all ages. Specifically, it provides grant funding to nonprofit organizations, schools, and libraries. Eligible beneficiaries are those within a 15-mile radius of Dollar General stores in the states where they operate. The Family Literacy Grants target nonprofit organizations that support literacy for the whole family, offering services like Adult Education Instruction, Children’s Education, and Parent and Child Together Time (PACT).
