The Doug & Maria DeVos Foundation, established in 1992, aims to support causes dear to them: youth, family, and the community in the Greater Grand Rapids area. The DeVos Foundation Grant program champions organizations and congregations in the Greater Grand Rapids area that align with its three main areas of giving: Empowering Youth, focusing on equipping youth for future challenges; Championing Families, aimed at aiding women and children to escape domestic abuse; and Enriching Community, dedicated to revitalizing the local community through homeownership initiatives. The foundation appreciates the contributions of time and talent from various organizations and carefully selects partners that align with their vision of supporting youth, families, and community development. Requests for grants are accepted on a rolling basis, with a review process of 3-4 months.
