East Texas Communities Foundation aims to enhance the quality of life in East Texas communities through philanthropy. It supports a wide range of charitable projects and organizations with a focus on benefiting the people and communities within East Texas.
The grant program supports a broad range of educational initiatives within Smith County, including but not limited to computer and job skills training, financial literacy, academic tutoring for school children, adult literacy, healthy lifestyle classes, and community education events and materials. Grants are intended to be accessible to a variety of organizations with a cap of $2,000 per request, ensuring that services are offered to citizens of the community without discrimination based on race or religion.
