Holsworth Wildlife Research Endowment Grant

The Holsworth Wildlife Research Endowment aims to support post-graduate student research focusing on Australian native plants and animals. The grant program encourages studies in the following areas: ecological interactions, population dynamics, animal behavior, species distribution, conservation biology and biodiversity, management of protected areas, rare or threatened species, wildlife management including sport hunting, harvesting, pest control, and land management effects on native species. Grants are renewable for two to three years with a maximum project grant of $22,500, including a specified budget for conference travel. It emphasizes the importance of ethical research practices, obtaining necessary permissions, and acknowledging the endowment in presentations and publications.
