Today, Edison International is one of the largest corporate philanthropic contributors in Southern California, partnering with local nonprofits and community heroes to build a better tomorrow. With a commitment to helping communities shine while addressing tough issues such as air quality, clean energy solutions, community resilience, diversity, equity & inclusion, and STEM education, they have contributed $20 million in funding to support these causes, focusing on helping underserved residents.
The Edison Scholars Program is designed to support high school seniors who aspire to make a significant impact in the fields of science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM). Edison International awards $50,000 college scholarships to 30 students annually, encouraging them to pursue their dreams in STEM areas and contribute towards a Clean Energy future. This initiative seeks to foster the next generation of innovators, creators, and leaders in STEM disciplines.
