Ent's mission focuses on recognizing the critical importance of young people to the present and future success of communities. They have dedicated themselves to supporting youth by funding nonprofit agencies that aid in the development and welfare of children through the Youth Endowment Series (YES) grants, demonstrating a long-standing commitment since 2000 to empowering organizations that make a significant impact on the lives of young individuals across Colorado.
The Ent YES for Kids! initiative prioritizes providing financial support to nonprofit agencies working to benefit youth in Colorado communities. The program awards YES Grants to deserving organizations with the aim of addressing crucial needs and facilitating life-changing support for children of all ages. Since its inception, over $1.8 million has been awarded, supporting more than 250 nonprofits in efforts ranging from providing shelter for abused children, ensuring food availability, to enhancing literacy programs. The grants are awarded through a competitive application process, with recipients chosen by a dedicated committee of Ent team members, emphasizing the grant's meaningful and collaborative approach to community service.
