The mission of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is working with others to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, plants, and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people.
The Mexico Standard Program is designed to foster partnerships between public agencies and groups interested in the conservation and management of wetland ecosystems and other habitats crucial for migratory birds, fish, and wildlife in North America. The grant encourages efforts to protect, improve, restore, and ensure a diverse and appropriate distribution of these ecosystems. To support these initiatives, a 1:1 funding match is required from applicants.
