    Overview

The LCCF grants program, in collaboration with the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio and the I'm A Child of Appalachia Fund, offers grants to nonprofits, schools, and public organizations in Lawrence County. The program awards grants across five critical areas: arts and culture, community and economic development, education, environmental stewardship, and health and human services. A significant aspect of the program is its emphasis on youth-led projects, encouraging initiatives where individuals under the age of 18 lead in creating opportunities, addressing community needs, and unlocking potential within Lawrence County. Funding ranges from $500 to $5,000, with a total of $10,000 available for awards. Specifically, $5,000 is allocated for youth-led projects, which are considered separately from other projects.
