FFP's mission is to support nonprofit organizations by funding programs that connect volunteer financial planners with individuals in need, aiming for these initiatives to be scalable, replicable, and sustainable.
The grant program focuses on funding initiatives that provide financial planning assistance to various underserved or in-need groups through volunteer financial planners. These programs may range from one-time counseling sessions to ongoing coaching relationships. Specific areas of funding include ongoing proven programs, the launch of new programs, or the addition of a financial planning component to enhance existing services. Supported groups include active military members and veterans, individuals battling cancer, seniors and their caregivers, domestic violence survivors, and low-income families among others.
