The Community Foundation for MetroWest improves the quality of life in 30+ MetroWest communities by providing financial and educational resources to local nonprofit organizations, sharing essential data about our region to inform decision making, and partnering with donors to help guide and align their giving with the areas of greatest need in the community.
The Human Services Grant Program seeks to award one-time general operating grants annually. These grants align with the goal of providing equitable access to opportunities and resources, improving life quality for individuals and households in MetroWest. For 2023, the Foundation prioritizes organizations serving under-resourced or underrepresented groups including low-income households, homeless individuals, immigrants, refugees, older adults, women, girls, individuals with disabilities, veterans, active-duty service members, and LGBTQIA+ communities. They focus on programs that address housing and homelessness prevention, economic opportunity and security, safety and wellbeing, and mental and behavioral health, and that offer sustainable client-focused solutions to community needs.
