PAACT (Promise All Atlanta Children Thrive), led by GEEARS (Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students), aims to collaborate with public and private partners to enhance learning, health, and well-being outcomes for Atlanta’s youngest children and their families. In 2020, PAACT and its partners established the PAACT Fund for Quality to support child care providers and families in the Atlanta area.
The PAACT Repair and Renovation Grant program focuses on improving the quality of child care facilities in Atlanta. It provides up to $75,000 to Atlanta-based child care providers for repair and renovation projects. To qualify, programs must be located within the City of Atlanta. This initiative is a collaboration among PAACT, the City of Atlanta, the Reinvestment Fund, and the Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF) to support the enhancement of early care and learning programs through non-repayable grants, thereby ensuring better facilities for child care services.
