    Overview

    The George H. Nettleton Foundation is dedicated to enhancing and improving the quality of life for older adults by funding unmet basic needs in the Greater Kansas City area. The Foundation focuses on funding programs that provide:

    • Housing: Repairs and maintenance enabling residents to be independent and safely remain in their homes.
    • Food: Support to produce fresh vegetables and fruit at a better quality and price than typically available.
    • Transportation: Funding for transportation to and from medical appointments for those unable to drive or without public transportation options.
    • Medical: Provision of medical and/or dental services to improve basic physical functioning and overall quality of life.
