    The mission of the Gratiot County Community Foundation is to enhance the quality of life for all residents of Gratiot County, Michigan, by attracting and managing permanently endowed funds and by using the proceeds from these funds to make strategic grants that address community needs.

    Type of Support

    Overview

    The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) Grants program is focused on empowering area youth to actively participate in community service projects. The program is designed to involve young people in philanthropy and community service, reflecting the foundation's commitment to involving youth in the betterment of their community. It offers two types of funding opportunities:

    • YAC Mini Grants: Aimed at supporting projects with a budget of $500 or less.
    • YAC Large Grants: For projects requiring over $500 in funds.
