INSPIRE and ENCOURAGE charitable giving in northeast Wisconsin by connecting caring people with solutions that strengthen our community
Capacity-building grants are designed to enhance the health and sustainability of nonprofit organizations located in Brown, Door, Kewaunee, and Oconto counties. These grants aim to support a range of organizations, with a particular emphasis on those led by people of color and those serving the elderly population (age 60 and older), alongside organizations that serve broader community sectors. The grants focus on strengthening organizational capabilities through various means, including but not limited to board training and governance, leadership development, strategic planning, collaboration initiatives, financial oversight, volunteer and nonprofit management enhancements, technology upgrades, and marketing strategies. Eligible applications often involve costs associated with hiring external experts or consultants to build these capacities.
