The mission of the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation is to improve quality of life in Greater Kansas City by increasing charitable giving, educating and connecting donors to community needs, and leading on critical issues.
The grant aims to increase knowledge and action towards healthier living in Wyandotte County, focusing on programs that improve access to healthy food and promote physical activity. Successful applications should align with the strategic goals of the Board of Commissioners and Healthy Communities Wyandotte's improvement plan, leverage additional funding, foster collaboration, minimize duplication, have measurable outcomes, and reach at-risk or underserved populations.
