The mission of Youth Impacting Community (YIC) under the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation is to foster youth philanthropy, encouraging and supporting projects initiated by or involving children and youth within the community.
The Grants for Greater Manhattan program aims to support a diverse range of areas including the arts and humanities, basic human needs, support for children and youth, efforts in community development and leadership, conservation, preservation, beautification initiatives, educational programs, elderly care, and healthcare and mental health services. This grant program focuses on addressing and funding various needs within the community to promote overall development and wellbeing.
