The Greater Polson Community Foundation aims to facilitate and invest in the development of a robust, welcoming community where all individuals have the opportunity to be healthy, educated, creative, productive, and prosperous. Through promoting philanthropy, financially supporting initiatives that build the community, collaborating with others, and inspiring community pride and unity, the directors endeavor to fulfill this vision.
The Greater Polson Community Foundation administers a permanent and growing endowment fund, attracting and stewarding philanthropic resources to distribute them to community-based non-profits. The foundation’s annual project grants are aimed at community projects that significantly contribute to coordination of resources, maximizing matching funds, and augmenting the efforts of community non-profits. The GPCF takes a leadership role as a grant-maker, convener, collaborator, and philanthropic partner, emphasizing equity and inclusion in community visioning. The grant program seeks projects that closely align with the mission and values of the GPCF, addressing critical needs to strengthen the community and improve the lives of its residents.
