The Worcester County Food Bank aims to create a hunger-free Worcester County by supporting nonprofit organizations dedicated to addressing food insecurity.
The WCFB Fund to End Hunger focuses on three primary areas: 1) Increasing access to healthy foods through initiatives like meal programs, community nutrition resources, and support for marginalized communities; 2) Building the capacity of food-serving organizations with funding for equipment and promoting diversity and inclusion; and 3) Advocacy for policy changes to support food assistance programs like SNAP and HIP, and assisting those ineligible for benefits. This grant strives to not only provide immediate food relief but also to foster long-term solutions to end hunger in Worcester County.
