The Greenwood County Community Foundation aims to enhance the quality of life in Greenwood by collaborating with individuals and organizations through funding and support to charitable entities within the county.
GCCF Community Impact Grants focus on Youth and Education. Grants support programs aimed at building a strong educational foundation to help individuals reach their full physical, emotional, and intellectual potential. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, educational attainment, reducing high school dropout rates, ensuring third graders can read at the appropriate level, early childhood development and education, afterschool and summer programs, and adult education. An organization is limited to one grant per calendar year, with awards of up to $5,000. Multi-year grants are not available, and costs must not be incurred before the grant start date.
