    Overview

The Pforzheimer Foundation Public Service Fellowships aim to support Harvard students who are committed to engaging in public service projects after graduation. These projects should endeavor to address essential human needs such as food, shelter, and health, enhance educational and employment opportunities, advocate for legal and civil rights, protect the environment and wildlife, or broadly support the general welfare. Fellowship projects must last a minimum of four months and can extend up to a year. Each year, the foundation allocates $80,000 or more for these fellowships, with specific award amounts determined by the project’s duration and financial needs.
