The Core Fund aims to provide unrestricted funding to global initiatives focusing on solar energy access to reduce environmental impact and enhance social and economic equity. While the grants are unrestricted, preference is given to organizations targeting specific projects or initiatives. The Honnold Foundation plans to distribute the majority of its funding for 2024 to the Americas and Island Nations, areas increasingly affected by intensifying storms and shifting climate patterns.
