The Idaho Women’s Charitable Foundation aims to inspire women with the power of collaborative philanthropy. Since its inception, it has grown substantially in membership and impact, investing over $1.6 million in 81 local projects through pooled-fund grants and extending its overall giving to nearly $3.2 million, supporting a diverse range of causes across Idaho.
The IWCF Pool-Fund Grants focus on funding projects, programs, services, or items that address critical needs in Southwestern Idaho through innovative and creative approaches. The foundation prioritizes projects with plans for sustainability beyond IWCF funding and prefers requests where it can contribute a substantial percentage of the funding needed. The grants, ranging between $20,000 and $35,000, cater to various interest areas including Cultural Arts, Education, Environment, Financial Stability, Health, and support for Rural Communities, with a special emphasis on underserved populations and innovative solutions to community challenges.
