The IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) aims to support and advance the field of electromagnetics through research, education, and the promotion of technological innovation. By providing grants and resources, AP-S fosters the development of students and researchers in this critical area of study.
The grant program from the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society, through its Undergraduate Summer Research Scholarships, aims to inspire undergraduate students globally towards graduate studies in key areas of interest such as antennas, electromagnetic wave propagation and interaction, and relevant applications and systems including applied optics and telecommunications. By funding 34 scholarships of US$102,000 in total, it offers a 16-week research opportunity in collaboration with either a faculty or industry supervisor, thereby nurturing the next generation of engineers and researchers in these critical fields. Projects must align with the Society's core areas to be considered for support.
