Review Criteria

Organizations will meet the following criteria:

  • Mission aligns with one or more of the foundation’s focus areas
  • Stable funding sources
  • Annual budget above $250,000
  • Collaborative working relationships with community partners
  • Established grant relationship with the foundation
  • Organizational growth potential 

All Non-profit Investigative Journalism Organizations (Institute for Nonprofit News members) should apply within this range. There is no geographic restriction for journalism grants.
