The International Center for Responsible Gaming (ICRG) is a nonprofit organization committed to funding scientific research on gambling disorder. Since its inception in 1996, the ICRG has dedicated itself to the support of high-quality research proposals on this subject. Under the guidance of a Scientific Advisory Board comprised of leading independent scientists with expertise in addiction and related topics, the ICRG employs rigorous standards in its grant-making process to ensure the advancement of knowledge in the field of gambling disorder research.
The NCRG Travel Grant program is designed to facilitate the participation of post-doctoral investigators in scientific meetings where they are scheduled to present papers or posters related to gambling disorder research. With a financial support cap of $1,500, these grants can be used by applicants to cover expenses associated with economy air travel, accommodation, ground transportation, meals, and early bird registration fees for conferences in 2024 or 2025. To maintain funding equity, each Principal Investigator is limited to one Travel Grant application per cycle.
