The mission of the IPRA Foundation is to advance peace research by investigating conflict causes and examining alternatives to violence. Their goal is to inform peace activities that foster a vision of a peaceful world, promote knowledge of non-violent strategies, increase peace scholars globally, encourage peace science and arts, and enhance global communication among peace researchers, furthering IPRA's activities.
The Peace Research Grants offered by the IPRA Foundation since 2002 aim to support peace research projects in various regions, including but not limited to Argentina, Bosnia, the United States, the Middle East, the Philippines, the Punjab, and Uganda. This initiative seeks proposals aligned with the foundation's mission to inspire peaceful visions, advance knowledge on non-violent peace strategies, and empower peace scholars and researchers worldwide. The grant program is dedicated to funding research in the most vulnerable and marginalized areas, contributing meaningfully to the global community, and respecting human dignity and diversity.
