The ISTAT Foundation supports individuals and institutions that advance commercial aviation and humanitarian efforts. It achieves its mission through funding programs, supported by annual grants from ISTAT and donations from individuals and companies, managed by the Foundation's Board of Trustees.
The grant program supports organizations globally that either advance commercial aviation or are involved in aviation-related humanitarian efforts. Specifically, the humanitarian grants focus on organizations using aviation to save lives, enhance human welfare, and reduce suffering. Eligible organizations must be registered as charitable, non-profit entities focusing on aviation-related humanitarian prevention, relief and/or recovery efforts for:
