The John Jamison Iron Mountain Education Fund was established to support and celebrate academic accomplishments. Founded in 2004 by the shareholders, directors, and managers of Iron Mountain, its purpose is to assist children of Iron Mountain employees in achieving their higher education ambitions.
The grant program aims to foster educational growth among the children of Iron Mountain employees by providing financial scholarships. These scholarships are designed to encourage studies in higher education, particularly in fields related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Scholarship awards are set at $2,000 for general recipients, with an enhanced $4,000 scholarship for those declaring majors in specific STEM areas including biological sciences, physical sciences, mathematical sciences, computer and information sciences, geosciences, engineering, and applicable technology areas. The availability of scholarships is contingent on annual fund allocations.
