Jacob Lowenthal Residue Grant

The Jacob Lowenthal Residue grant program supports initiatives that:

1. Offer year-round programming.
2. Provide direct services to individuals in line with the organization’s core social mission.
3. Meet a demonstrated community need with a demand for such services.
4. Yield a broad impact or benefit underserved populations.
5. Feature measurable outcomes, including a plan for documenting results and ensuring long-term sustainability.
6. Possess diversified income streams and demonstrate effective financial accountability.
7. Encourage collaboration with other organizations.
8. Complement rather than duplicate the efforts of other non-profits.
9. Are initiated by organizations with at least three years of full-service operation.
10. Require that the program or project applying has been in operation for at least one year with a report on its measurable impact available prior to application.
