The Jerusalem Fund for Education and Community Development is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit that aims to foster greater awareness about Palestine in the United States and abroad and improve the lives of Palestinians in Palestine and the diaspora. It does this via humanitarian relief, medical services, community development, educational programs, policy analysis, and cultural offerings.
The grant program provided by the Jerusalem Fund focuses on offering humanitarian assistance to Palestinians in the West Bank, Gaza, and Jerusalem, as well as to Palestinian refugees in Syria and Lebanon. In addition to supporting basic needs, these grants are directed towards projects that enable Palestinians to share their history and struggles with Western audiences, facilitating a greater understanding and awareness of their situation globally.
