The Jewish Women’s Foundation of New Jersey (JWF-NJ) is a collaborative philanthropy inspired by Jewish values, dedicated to empowering women and girls in New Jersey through education, advocacy, and strategic grant making. It operates as an advisory council fund of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater MetroWest NJ.
The Spring Grant Cycle by JWF-NJ offers large grants, with a maximum request of $25,000, to support New Jersey-based projects that align with its mission of empowering women and girls. The foundation accepts Letters of Intent (LOIs) from 501(C)(3) organizations, and Trustees select from these LOIs to invite for a full proposal submission. This Large Grant Period extends from July 1 of a given year to June 30 of the following year, with funding provided on a one-year basis. Although organizations may reapply annually, funding is not guaranteed.
