The Jewish Foundation's Women of Vision Society is dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in the Greater New Haven area and in Israel. The society seeks to enhance, support, and sustain critical programming and services for women and girls, having distributed over $180,000 toward these causes since its inception.
The Talmud Torah Meyuchad grant program focuses on providing supplemental financial assistance to religious school programs specifically designed for children with individualized learning requirements and special needs. The overarching goal is to ensure these children can benefit from enhanced educational experiences within their religious community. This is accomplished through financial contributions that support additional services, staffing, and materials necessary for an enriched learning environment. The grant acts as part of a broader financial and service support system, encouraging collaboration among schools, synagogues, parents/families, and the wider community to foster inclusive education for children with special needs.
