Dr. Vinay Jain and Mrs. Kanika Jain established the Jiv Daya Foundation in 2002 to enhance the quality of life globally. The foundation focuses on a variety of health-related projects, including pediatric oncology, palliative care, maternal health, amputee assistance, child deworming, and Kala Azar treatment, with efforts in India and Dallas.
The Jiv Daya Foundation supports organizations with a strong performance record through capacity-building initiatives. The grant program concentrates on pediatric oncology, palliative care, eye care, amputee assistance, and maternal and neonatal health. Funding mainly supports human capital and data management within these areas, avoiding research projects, equipment support, or meeting funding. JDF promotes ongoing collaboration aimed at achieving direct and quantifiable benefits for beneficiaries and maintains an open policy for grant applications, reviewing proposals on a rolling basis.
