The Community Foundation is dedicated to supporting Lehigh Valley youth and families by managing funds focused on providing comprehensive approaches for engaging youth and their families in pursuing meaningful life aspirations. This involves flexible funding for organizations aimed at early childhood and other critical developmental periods, recognizing the importance of quality childcare for a vibrant, healthy economy while addressing the existing early childcare education crisis.
The Upper Bucks Community Fund of the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation is designed to support nonprofit organizations and programs that serve the Upper Bucks area, particularly within the Palisades, Pennridge, and Quakertown School Districts. It focuses on a broad range of causes, including but not limited to visual, performing, and industrial arts; agricultural education; conservation of rural life; and science and technology education. The fund encompasses two main area-of-interest funds: the Richard E. Gasser Fund and the Erwin J. and Gertrude K. Neusch Fund, both of which support projects and programs in their respective focus areas. A recent addition, The Bucks County Free Library Endowment Fund, supports the county's library system, enhancing educational and resource availability across the region.
