The Lumpkin Family Foundation supports people working together to build healthy, sustainable communities in East Central Illinois and across the US.
The Land, Health, Community program is the primary grantmaking initiative of the foundation, dedicating at least 50% of its annual budget to projects in East Central Illinois. It seeks to advance a vision of prosperous communities with resilient businesses, active and healthy residents, engaged leadership, and a preserved natural environment. The grant supports proposals aimed at promoting personal health through access to healthy foods, growing the local agricultural economy, developing green practices for farming sustainability, and encouraging community involvement in agriculture and rural development.
