The Lutheran Foundation focuses on building and maintaining community networks aimed at supporting the spiritual, mental, and physical well-being of vulnerable populations in northeast Indiana. It targets the root causes of health needs, with a special emphasis on mental and behavioral health and wellness.
The Lutheran Foundation grants support Lutheran and community organizations in advancing Gospel sharing and promoting mental wellness to silence the stigma of mental illness. Specifically, the Lutheran School Grant program aims to equip Lutheran schools in the region with the resources needed to provide counseling services and mental health support for students and their families, encouraging, promoting, and supporting a variety of Lutheran educational endeavors towards advancing excellence in Lutheran education. Applications for funding must be a minimum of $1,500.
