    Overview

The Public Art Across Maryland (PAAM) Conservation Grants aim to support the conservation and preservation of existing public artworks in Maryland. The program facilitates two types of grants: Conservation Planning Grants, offering up to $10,000 for conservation planning efforts such as project administration and consultancy fees; and Conservation Project Grants, offering up to $30,000 to support the maintenance, conservation, and potential re-siting or relocation of existing permanent public artworks within Maryland. This initiative stresses the importance of conservation planning, community engagement, and collection management to ensure the longevity and continued public engagement with Maryland's public artworks.
