The Massachusetts Bar Foundation aims to improve the administration of justice, promote an understanding of the law, and ensure equal access to the legal system for all residents of Massachusetts, especially those most vulnerable.
The MBF Special Projects Grants program supports initiatives that fall outside the eligibility of the IOLTA Grants Program or the traditional grant cycle but align with the foundation's mission to enhance justice, legal understanding, and access. These grants are considered as finances allow and require prior discussion with the MBF Grants office before submission. Unsolicited proposals or concept papers are strongly discouraged.
