The mission of our grant program is to support educators in developing and implementing holistic environmental curricula that integrate field activities with classroom teaching and incorporate basic ecological principles and problem-solving.
The Environmental Curricula Grants program aims to contribute to the development, implementation, and/or field testing of environmental curricula aligning with specific goals. These goals include empowering and encouraging students to become involved in solving environmental and social problems, promoting thoughtful analysis and understanding of the natural world, and training students as informed decision-makers through the application of basic ecological principles. Applicants must submit a pre-proposal first, with selected applicants then invited to submit a full proposal.
