  • The Foundation rarely makes grants for programs in which it is the sole funder.
  • Grant applications pertaining to the Black Belt Region must be submitted by January 16 and July 16 for consideration at the next quarterly board meeting.
  • Newer grantee organizations are more likely to be successful when applying for a program grant. Grantees who have had a previous relationship with the Foundation may choose to apply for a single or multi-year operating grant.
