    The State Department of Human Services (DHS) Grants, Equity, Access, and Research (GEAR) Division aims to expand the number and capacity of New Americans within the long-term care (LTC) workforce. This initiative seeks to support both the individuals and LTC organizations through various tracks. The grant focuses on facilitating basic needs and supportive services, enhancing employers' abilities to support, recruit, and maintain New Americans, providing training and career pathways, and improving outreach and recruitment processes. Each track offers a maximum grant award, with amounts up to $500,000, emphasizing the program's commitment to substantial support and development opportunities.
