The Legacy of Living Art (LoLA) Field of Interest Fund is dedicated to supporting projects that leverage the arts to foster and support healing. By funding initiatives that utilize creativity for wellness and wellbeing, LoLA aims to contribute to the enhancement of human spirit and social interaction, facilitating creative expression and offering respite through the arts.
The LoLA Fund annually awards grants to artists and organizations that propose projects aligned with their goal of engaging creativity for the betterment of wellness and wellbeing. These projects should aim to provide opportunities for creative expression, respite, social interaction, and enhance the human spirit. Each year, grants covering up to 25% of the total fund are distributed, with the current year’s disbursement anticipated to be about $12,000, split across 1-4 grants. Previous recipients of a LoLA grant are ineligible to apply in the following year, encouraging a broader distribution of support but can reapply after a one-cycle break.
