The MEM Safety Grant program is designed to ensure that financial constraints do not hinder efforts to maintain a safe working environment. It is open to MEM policyholders who wish to purchase and install safety-enhancing equipment. The program evaluates applications based on the potential impact on exposure, the appropriateness of the intervention, frequency of use, and claims history and potential. Financially, MEM supports approved safety initiatives by matching each dollar invested by an applicant, ranging from $500 to $10,000 for those selected to receive an award.
